Message I think the setup we have acts as a check and balance to even out any boost differential. When you use a FMIC, the check and balance is reduced, but it's not as bad as it could get. Here are a few examples:

1. On a parallel setup with each turbo feeding the opposite bank (stock), the airflow is crossed over to the other side to negate the imbalance. It's engineered so the imbalance cancels itself out- a simple load-balancing technique.

2. With a FMIC, the cross flow is partially eliminated, and the load-balancing effect won't work. But since the boost pressure is averaged out in the intercooler it can't get totally out of hand.

3. If you had a parallel setup with each turbo feeding its own bank, any amount of imbalance would compound itself, and it could get out of hand pretty easily.
